We develop smart irrigation, automation and technology solutions, and we are looking for a Projects and Technical Solutions Engineer (M/F) to strengthen our team and take on an active role in developing projects, from the technical survey and client contact through to defining the solution, costing it and supervising the work on site.

The work sits between the physical and the digital: equipment installed on the street, data arriving over IoT, and dashboards where someone makes a decision. It calls for curiosity about hardware, data and territory.

The challenge

In this role you will work closely with clients and projects, following every stage of the process. You will carry out technical surveys on site, understand what the client needs, develop solutions, prepare cost estimates and supervise the work, making sure the solutions meet both the technical requirements and the needs identified.

It is a varied role, combining client contact, on-site work, technical analysis, solution design and site supervision.

Main responsibilities

• Carrying out technical surveys and on-site measurements;
• Visiting and supporting clients, identifying needs and proposing suitable solutions;
• Developing technical solutions in automation and electrical systems;
• Producing electrical, command and control diagrams;
• Preparing cost estimates and technical proposals;
• Using digital drawing tools to prepare solutions;
• Supervising the work on site, ensuring solutions are implemented correctly;
• Liaising with clients, suppliers, internal teams and site teams;
• Following projects through and helping resolve technical questions as they progress;
• Ensuring the quality and suitability of the solutions developed.

The profile we are looking for

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar;
• An interest in automation, technology, electrical systems and smart solutions;
• The ability to carry out and interpret technical surveys;
• The ability to analyse and define technical solutions;
• The ability to prepare and review cost estimates;
• Knowledge of technical drawing and digital drawing tools;
• Good communication skills and ease in dealing with clients;
• Organisation, self-reliance and attention to detail;
• The ability to follow projects through and solve problems on site;
• Team spirit and a sense of responsibility;
• Driving licence.
